DeFAI layer Edwin blends wallets and AI chatbot with terminal launch

The concept of integrating crypto wallets into chatbots for DeFi access and AI-driven trade execution is relatively new, industry observers say.

Cryptocurrency wallets are set for a new integration with artificial intelligence chatbot functionality through an AI terminal launched by the decentralized finance and AI (DeFAI) layer, Edwin.

Edwin, an AI interface layer for DeFi launched in early 2025, is publicly rolling out its AI terminal, which aims to make access to crypto and DeFi “as easy as chatting,” according to an announcement shared with Cointelegraph on Thursday.

The terminal allows users to directly connect their browser wallets like Phantom or MetaMask to provide real-time wallet context and suggest or even execute DeFi trades.
